As a Joyce I've always had a profound pride in my Irish and Scottish ancestry and sought to reflect that in my brand when I decided to become "legal."The name Seoighe I believe represents that pride in my deepest roots. You'll find that the entire brand is being built on a foundation of pride in heritage and legacy as much as quality.
This is why our flagship product is our white whiskey dubbed "American Legacy." As the recipe got its start on the other side of the law, we often refer to it as Moonshine, thus also paying tribute to the inner Rebel Spirit that lives on in all of us who's ancestry remembers the strain and suffering once brought on by the government that was meant to take care of its people instead of oppress them.
Seoighe Spirits American Legacy Moonshine began as a hobby, growing into a passion, and finally a calling to leave behind my own Joyce Legacy. Distilled from Corn, Oats, Barley, Wheat, and Rye, American Legacy promises a unique and flavorful experience for the senses as the World's first Top Shelf Moonshine. There really is no unaged whiskey like ours.
